HIGHLAND E-MTB DAY TOUR
The Fjallabak Nature Reserve has exceptional natural beauty and the area is perfectly suited for mountain biking.This route runs between the northern and southern parts of the Nature Reserve and is simply magnificent. We get to feast our eyes on a large part of the most beautiful landscape the Icelandic Highlands have to offer. The route winds through glacier rivers, lava fields, multicolored rhyolite expanses, hot springs, and sandy plains between Krakatindur, Laufafell, Reykjadalir and Hrafntinnusker.
It is almost entirely on relatively firm and enjoyable mountain roads that are rather easy and fast to traverse.
