MINNIVELLIR COTTAGE
THE COTTAGE
The group stays together in the charming and comfortable cottage of Minnivellir. The house has 4 private rooms and a cozy sleeping loft accommodating up to 14 people. It has a spacious bathroom, a restroom and as well a very cozy living room.
MINNIVELLIR
Nights in sleeping bag on the loft or in double rooms with made up bed. Shared bathrooms, including running water, restroom facilities and showers. At the cottage you have access to a free wifi.
LOCATION
It is situated close to Hekla volcano, with views all the way to the infamous volcano-glacier of Eyjafjallajökull and within a very short distance from our favorite mountain roads in the highlands.
THE MEALS
The dinner will be served with the supervision of Bike Company's staff and the greatly appreciated participation of the group members.
BREAKFAST
A very copieus breakfast is served every morning in all our tours.
LUNCH
For lunch we normally bring along a delicious energy filled picnic in our backpack, that we can enjoy whenever needed during the rides. Sandwiches are made by yourself in the morning with diverse choses.
DINNER
The dinners are made with fresh Icelandic product served with potatoes or rice and cooked vegetables. Every night we offer a gourmet dessert and a evening snack.
YOUR PERSONAL EXTRA
We supply the main meals and a basic snack for the rides. Please let us know in advance if you have any dietary considerations.
EXTRA SNACK...
If you have a favourite snack food such as energy bars and protein supplements, we recommend that you bring it along. You can always take it back with you in case you don't need it.
THE BOOZE...
It is not always possible to stop at the liquor store in Iceland after the trip has started. We highly recommend that you stop at the tax-free store at the airport if you wish to have a wine or beer with you in the trip.
